MAKING WAVES: AN E-NEWS BRIEF (1-15 MAY 2020)

The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) has curated a Special Issue of Making Waves which covers news stories related to the COVID-19 pandemic. These stories are relevant to five dominant themes across the maritime domain. Of particular interest in this issue are the US Navy’s forays into the South China Sea and the Barents Sea and the manifestation of Chinese interest in the former through aggressive geopolitical manoeuvering.
