Assistant Military Attaché of the Russian Embassy Calls on the National Maritime Foundation

Mr Evgenii Setkov, Assistant Military Attaché, Embassy of the Russian Federation, called on the National Maritime Foundation (NMF) on 23 August 2026 for a courtesy meeting.

The interaction was attended by Commodore Jai Bedi, Executive Director, NMF; Commodore Manish Sinha (Retd), Senior Fellow, NMF; Captain RS Sawan, Senior Fellow, NMF; and Ms Aditi Thakur.

The courtesy call reflected NMF’s continued engagement with members of the diplomatic and defence community on issues of shared maritime and strategic interest. Such interactions contribute to sustained institutional dialogue and help strengthen exchanges on maritime security, regional developments, and India’s wider maritime outlook.
