NMF and Larsen & Toubro Sign MoU to Advance Research on Maritime Public-Private Partnership

The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to advance research on public-private partnership in India’s maritime, security, and defence sectors.

The MoU was signed by Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan, AVSM & Bar, VSM, IN (Retd), Director General, NMF, and Mr Pankaj Chadha, ndc, Executive Vice President and Head, Marine Platform, Equipment and Systems (MPES), L&T Precision Engineering and Systems.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening India’s maritime industry and promoting policy-relevant research at the intersection of maritime security, defence capability, and private-sector enterprise.

By bringing together institutional research expertise and industry experience, the partnership aims to contribute to informed dialogue on public-private partnership models, maritime industrial growth, defence innovation, and India’s wider maritime and strategic interests.
