The UK Royal Navy’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) Protection Officers Course was recently held at The Park Hotel, New Delhi over a five day period. Participants—including Senior Fellows, research faculty, and interns from the National Maritime Foundation (NMF), as well as Navy and Coast Guard officers from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives were engaged in comprehensive discussions on critical maritime issues such as fishery management, search and rescue operations, and tackling maritime pollution.
Beyond insightful lectures, the program fostered teamwork through syndicate work, strengthening professional ties across the maritime community.
