The National Maritime Foundation (NMF), and the Warship Design Bureau (WDB) jointly organised a round-table discussion with a delegation of the Royal Thai Navy (RTN). The delegation was led by Adm Adoong Pan-Iam, C-in-C, RTN, and accompanied by VAdm Narong Jongrakphuban, VAdm Tadavut Thaphitak-kul, RAdm Veerudome Muangchean, RAdm Panumas Thanpanich, and other senior officers of the RTN. The delegation was given an overview of India’s maritime interests, geostrategy and policies by the Director-General (NMF), VAdm Pradeep Chauhan, AVSM & Bar, VSM, IN (Retd). Thereafter, Cdr Manu Tripathi delivered a presentation on the overview of the WDB. The exchange was aimed at increasing interaction and cooperation amongst the organisations. At the close of the session, Adm Adoong Pan-Iam was presented with a token of appreciation by the Director-General of the NMF.
