NMF Recognised in Taipei; Announces Special Journal Issue on Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy (NSP+)

The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) was recognised for its contributions to maritime scholarship at an international conference held in Taipei, attended by a distinguished gathering of diplomats, scholars, and strategic experts.

During the conference, Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan, AVSM & Bar, VSM, IN (Retd), Director General of NMF, highlighted the Foundation’s expanding intellectual footprint and formally announced a forthcoming Special Issue of NMF’s flagship journal, Maritime Affairs. The Special Issue will be dedicated to examining Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy (Version 2.0), also referred to as NSP+.

The announcement reflects NMF’s continued commitment to advancing maritime research, fostering regional dialogue, and contributing to cooperative frameworks in the Indo-Pacific region.
