
A SUSTAINABLE ‘BLUE’ TRANSITION FOR THE PORTS AND SHIPPING INDUSTRY- NMF-TOF WEBINAR
The webinar is co-hosted by The Ocean Foundation, Washington, D.C., (TOF) and the National Maritime Foundation of India (NMF) on ‘Sustainable, ‘Blue’ transition for the ‘Ports and Shipping’ Industry’, from 1830h–2030h (IST), on Tuesday, 04 May 2021. This webinar on sustainable shipping will attempt to bring together different perspectives (science, economics, legal, and policy) and produce specific policy recommendations.
The webinar will comprise a panel discussion that will delve into the subjects of sustainable investment in shipping, achieving sustainability through engagement funds, the role of shipping in the transition to a Blue Economy, climate resilience ports and shipping, and the growing problem of marine mammal ship strikes, to name a few.
About the Webinar
The Lecture will be hosted by the National Maritime Foundation (NMF), on a virtual platform (Zoom), on 04 May 2021, Tuesday, from 1830 h to 2030 h (IST)
