Strengthening India–Japan Maritime Cooperation: NMF Hosts Delegation from the Joint Staff College, Japan

The National Maritime Foundation had the honour of hosting a delegation from the Joint Staff College, Japan, led by Captain NOJO Masashi of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF).

The interaction began with welcome remarks by Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan, AVSM & Bar, VSM, IN (Retd), Director-General, NMF, and included presentations from both the Japanese delegation and NMF, followed by meaningful discussions and audience engagement.

The session concluded with closing remarks from the Japanese side, an exchange of mementos, and a group photograph to commemorate the visit.

This engagement marked another step forward in strengthening India–Japan maritime understanding and strategic cooperation.
