NMF Leadership Briefs IORA Diplomats on Maritime Security and SAR in the Indian Ocean Region

Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan, AVSM & Bar, VSM, IN (Retd), Director-General, NMF, and Comdt Neeraj Sharma, Research Fellow, NMF, delivered insightful presentations to IORA diplomats at the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSFSI).

VAdm Chauhan spoke on the “Maritime Security Paradigm in the Indian Ocean Region”, while Comdt Sharma addressed “Maritime Search and Rescue (SAR) in the IOR”.

The session spotlighted key maritime challenges and the way forward for enhanced regional cooperation.
