Advancing India–EU Maritime Security Cooperation Through Track 1.5 Engagements

Ms Saaz Lahiri, Research Associate at the National Maritime Foundation (NMF), had the privilege of presenting the NMF’s Track 1.5 perspectives on India–EU maritime security cooperation during the working lunch of the Fourth Track One India–EU Maritime Security Dialogue.

As a longstanding knowledge partner of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, the NMF continues to actively engage with EU counterparts through Track 1.5 workshops and thematic seminars in collaboration with the Enhancing Security Cooperation in and with Asia (ESIWA) project. These engagements foster meaningful collaboration between India and the European Union’s Track 1 and Track 1.5 entities.

Such strategic conversations play a vital role in advancing maritime security cooperation and addressing emerging challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
