NMF Hosts High-Level Round Table Discussion with RAND Corporation, USA

The National Maritime Foundation hosted a vibrant Round Table Discussion with the RAND Corporation, USA.

The RAND team included Dr Rafiq Dossani (Senior Economist), Dr John V Parachini (Senior International Defence Researcher), Dr Ted Harshberger and Mr Michael Eussen Matthew (Former US State Department Official).

VAdm Pradeep Chauhan, AVSM & Bar, VSM (Retd), DG NMF, chaired the meeting. The NMF delegation featured Capt YP Sharma (Deputy Director), Senior Fellows Capt KK Agnihotri (Retd) and Capt Bharat Deep Gaur (Retd), Research Associates Ms Anuttama Banerji, Mr Chemi Rigzin, and Programme Executive Ms Chitali Kohli.

Key topics included maritime security, defence industry collaboration, MRO operations, and export control policies. Both sides exchanged valuable insights and showed strong interest in strengthening the India–US maritime partnership.
