NMF Advances India–Greece Maritime Dialogue in High-Level Follow-Up Meeting

Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan (Director-General, @nmfindia), Captain Ranendra S Sawan (Senior Fellow, #NMF), and Ms Priyasha Dixit (Research Associate, #NMF) had a productive meeting with Ambassador (Ms) Shamma Jain (former Ambassador of India to Greece), Dr Vasileios Syros (Honorary Adjunct Fellow, #NMF), and Mr Arjun Hardas.

This meeting was convened as a follow-up to earlier discussions with Dr Syros, focusing on India–Greece collaboration.

The discussions highlighted the need to enhance #MaritimeConsciousness in both countries, acknowledging their shared maritime heritage and the strategic importance of #maritimecooperation in the evolving Indo-Mediterranean context.

Preliminary conversations also touched on the #IndiaMiddleEastEuropeEconomicCorridor (#IMEC) and its implications for trade, connectivity, and regional alignment.

The participants reaffirmed the need for sustained dialogue and concrete collaborative frameworks.
