A brief interaction was held between the National Maritime Foundation, led by Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan (Director General, NMF), Commodore Manish Sinha (Executive Director, NMF), and its distinguished team comprising Captain KS Vikramaditya (Senior Fellow), Captain Ranendra S Sawan (Senior Fellow), Mr John J Vachaparambil (Associate Fellow), Mr Soham Agarwal (Associate Fellow), and Mr Chemi Rigzin (Research Associate), and the Korean Maritime Institute delegation, represented by Dr Young Kil Park (Research Fellow & Head, Yeosu Academy for the Law of the Sea), Dr Jungho Nam (Senior Research Fellow), and Dr (Ms) Hyunwook Cheng (Senior Fellow)

The meeting fostered discussions on collaborative research in key areas such as climate change, coastal erosion, critical infrastructure, and security imperatives. Both sides emphasized knowledge sharing and the potential to co-author impactful studies.
