Meeting with “High Seas Alliance” (Manila) delegation

On Friday, 23 August 2024, Vice Admiral Pradeep Chauhan, AVSM & Bar, VSM, Director-General of NMF, along with Cmde Debesh Lahiri, Senior Fellow, NMF; John Vachaparambil, Associate Fellow, NMF; Soham Agarwal, Associate Fellow, NMF; Dr Gulshan Sharma, Junior Research Associate, NMF; Ms Rashmi Yadav, Junior Research Associate, NMF; and Ms Chitali Kohli, Programme Executive, NMF, had a productive meeting with the delegation from the High Seas Alliance (HSA), including Ms Rebecca Hubbard, Director of HSA, and Ms Rizza Sacra-Dejucos, Asia Regional Coordinator of HSA. 🌍

The discussion centered on fostering collaborative efforts to safeguard our high seas and exploring actionable strategies for marine conservation. The meeting was followed by a working lunch, allowing for deeper conversations on the future of ocean governance.
