Ms Rhythma Kaul, Associate Fellow, NMF delivered an online presentation on The Application of International Maritime Law on the World’s Navies on request from the Naval Engineering Special Interest Group of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), London, on 26 Feb 24.  The event was hosted by Commodore RK Rana (Retd), a Fellow at the IMarEST.

The presentation encapsulated regulatory frameworks provided in International Maritime Law to address issues such as ship recycling, oil spills, and Marine Scientific Research (MSR) in order to draw attention to important facets of these issues and how the naval community can support the larger maritime community.

The presentation was well-received and appreciated by the audience and Ms Kaul was invited for future collaborations to leverage her expertise in International Maritime Law.
