The National Maritime Foundation (NMF) is amongst India’s premier think-tanks, and is the foremost resource-centre for the development and advocacy of strategies for the promotion and protection of India’s maritime interests. We are the only think- tank in India that concentrates solely on the maritime domain in a holistic and comprehensive manner.  As a ‘Track 1.5’ institution, comprising a healthy mix of highly-qualified and experienced practitioners (by way of serving officers of the Indian Armed Forces) and civilian scholars, we conduct policy-relevant research, analyses and advocacy on the entire gamut of economic-, socio-economic-, socio- cultural-, geopolitical-, scientific-, legal-, security-, and historical issues relevant to India’s maritime domain. Our primary target audiences are the government, international organisations, academic institutions, industry and other think tanks. 

We are looking to hire a marketing agency to aid and enhance the foundation’s brand building and reputation management on digital mediums, with high-quality marketing of our research, convening and advocacy efforts towards building a “maritime India”. We are seeking experienced digital marketing firms, based in New Delhi to send in their detailed proposals based on our requirement. 

Requirements– The agency would be required to manage the following assets for the Foundation- 

Website

  1. The agency would be required to regularly improve the inbound-marketing experience of the website visitors through regular improvements to the website UI/UX design, update content, and wholly secure and manage the website of the National Maritime Foundation. 
  2. Search Engine Optimisation: From on-page to off-page SEO, the agency would be required to audit the site, analyse competitive websites, and plan SEO on the basis of a relevant keyword strategy. 
  3. The agency would prepare and provide regular reports of the monitorable impact of the SEO efforts through increase in page rankings, and resultant organic flow of traffic to the website with a high conversion-rate.

Social Media: The National Maritime Foundation is currently present on the following platforms- Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram. 

  1. Focusing on brand awareness and exposure, the agency would be required to design and implement a content strategy with original, attractive and meaningful posts.
  2. The agency would be required to conceptualise, and create stand-out images, animated GIFs, videos and other content, for the same. It is expected to produce a minimum of five to seven (5-7) posts per week on our various handles. 
  3. Analytics reports of improvement in relevant metrics, as well as website organic traffic is expected at regular intervals.
