Project 75-I

The lecture will examine Project 75-I from the perspective of where the programme stands today, the key considerations that have shaped its progress, and how it may evolve over the next five years, particularly in relation to India’s submarine-building capability and the wider maritime-security landscape.

The presentation will be followed by an interaction with the audience.

Commodore Anil Jai Singh, (Retd)

Honorary Adjunct Fellow, National Maritime Foundation

A distinguished submariner, Commodore Anil Jai Singh commanded four submarines and a Fleet ship during his three-decade naval career. His appointments have included tenures at Naval Headquarters, instructional assignments at leading professional military institutions, service as Defence and Naval Adviser at the Indian High Commission in the United Kingdom, and responsibilities in perspective planning at the Integrated Defence Staff. He continues to write and speak extensively on submarine capability, maritime strategy, indigenisation and the Indo-Pacific.
