Cmde Arun P Golaya, VSM, IN (Retd), delivered a Professional Education Lecture on Innovation in the Indian Navy at NMF, on Monday, 13 May 2024. The session was moderated by Cmde Manish Sinha, Executive Director, NMF, who delivered the opening remarks. Cmde Golaya gave an insight into the current wave of innovation and indigenisation by the Indian Navy. He provided an overview of the Naval Innovation and Indigenisation Organisation (NIIO) and the Technology Development and Acceleration Cell (TDAC). He shared the progress made at the policy level as well as technological innovation in recent times by engaging various stakeholders, including in academia and industry.
