
Kripa Anand
Bio - Profile
Kripa Anand is a Research Associate in the Indian and Regional Maritime Security (IRMS) Cluster at the National Maritime Foundation, where she focuses on the maritime geostrategies of the Oceania region. She has a background in international relations, media, and research. Kripa holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from The Australian National University and a Bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, specialising in Media Studies and International Relations.
She has worked in journalism, research, and corporate strategy, gaining experience at organisations such as WION News, the Observer Research Foundation (ORF), and Ernst & Young. As an Assistant Producer at WION, she contributed to the network’s flagship primetime show, Gravitas, and produced Climate Tracker, India’s only news program dedicated to climate issues. At ORF, she conducted foreign policy research and published analytical pieces on international affairs. She also supported strategic initiatives at Ernst & Young. Additionally, she interned with the Ministry of External Affairs, focusing on India-Australia relations.
Outside of work, Kripa enjoys travelling, reading, and spending time in nature. She has a keen interest in media, policy, and global affairs and enjoys exploring different perspectives through research and storytelling.
