2006 – 2016: Lieutenant Commander in Indian Navy

  • Served as Short Service Commission Officer in Executive (GS) Cadre from 10 Jul 2006 to 10 Jul 2016. Specialized in Advanced Information Warfare, and Nuclear Biological Chemical Defence.
  • Handled Staff work as DDNBCD at IHQ MoD (Navy), Ministry of Defence pertaining to staff requirements of naval procurements, laying down Navy Orders and Training program for Navy personnel
  • Handling staff work pertaining to Court of enquiry, Court martial issue, national and international legal issues.
  • Have undertaken Operational Deployment in High seas including in anti-piracy operations exercising with foreign Navies and troops in Gulf of Aden, IOR, Arabian Sea, Andaman and Nicobar Island
  • Have under taken deployment in International Maritime Boundary Line with Sri-Lanka and Bangladesh in anti LTTE operations.
  • Have served on various classes of warships, have undertaken navigation, seamanship, operations, bridge watchkeeping duties including ORO duties.
  • Qualified Basic Mountaineering Course from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and summitted at 16,000/- ft.
  • Qualified and experienced in handling and use of small and large fire arms
  • Experience in international Laws, Air, Space, shipping laws, UNCLOS, SOLAS, IRPCS, GMDSS.
  • Experienced in ship handling, bridge watch keeping, Navigation, communication.
  • Experience in handling Radars, ECDIS, Navaids
  • Experienced in handling and management of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons including international laws.
  • Experienced in handling Fire-fighting, rescue and disaster management, resuscitation.
  • Qualified Basic Mountaineering Course from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute –A Grade.
