About the Speaker

Dr Chime Youdon is a Research Fellow, and the Head of the Blue Economy and Climate Change Cluster at the National Maritime Foundation in New Delhi, India. She was the recipient of the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) Fellowship (2021โ€“2022). She was also a VAdm KK Nayyar Fellow. Her re- search areas of interest include global climate change politics, climate resilience and adaptation of critical maritime infrastructure, nature-based solutions, blue economy, and sustainable development of coastal urban agglomer- ations. She has earned her doctorate degree in Comparative Global Cli- mate Change Policies from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She is also the author of Monograph titled โ€œRising Seas and Coastal Impacts: Metropolitan Resilient of Indiaโ€, 2023.
