Experience

Commander Saurav Mohanty is an alumnus of Naval Academy, Goa. He was commissioned into the Navy on 01 Jan 02. He is a Naval Aircrew Observer operational on Kamov 25 and Kamov 28 helicopter and has undergone specialisation in Anti-Submarine Warfare. He has served onboard frontline shipborne flights, IN Ships Rana and Ranjit and as Squadron Mine Counter Measure Officer, INS Karwar. He had the opportunity of being in the commissioning crew of INS Vikramaditya and has served as Commander (Operations) of two Naval Air Stations (IN Ships Utkrosh and Rajali).

He is presently appointed as Deputy Director of the National Maritime Foundation, New Delhi.
