Experience

Commander Anand Kumar is an alumnus of Naval Academy, Goa. He was commissioned into the Navy on 01 Jul 98. He specialises in Anti-Submarine Warfare and is a graduate of prestigious Defence Services Staff College. He has served onboard many Indian Navy frontline ships. He is presently appointed as Deputy Director and Research fellow at National maritime Foundation, New Delhi.

Education

  • The officer, has undergone ‘Operation Analysis and Operations Research (OA & OR) course from prestigious institute, IIT Delhi.
  • The Officer was selected to undergo one month course in International Law of Military Operations and Maritime Law (I-LOMO) at Defence Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS), United States of America.
  • Diploma in International Maritime Law from Gujarat National Law University.
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development and is a graduate (B.Sc) in Psychology and is currently perusing M. Sc (Psy).
