Experience

  1. Capt KS Vikramaditya was commissioned in the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy in Jul 1995. The officer subsequently underwent specialisation in Anti Submarine Warfare wherein after he was appointed as the Anti Submarine Warfare Officer onboard various frontline ships of the Western Fleet and as an Instructor at Indian Navy’s ASW School.
  2. The officer was closely involved in the fruition of the indigenous Combat Management System (CMS) and Data Link programmes of the Indian Navy at the Directorate of Staff Requirements, where he was a founder member of the Rule Writing Group, Combat Management Systems. The officer has also served at the Directorate of Network Centric Operations where he was closely associated with the conceptual aspects and setting up of the Information Fusion Centre, Indian Ocean Region; and varied Maritime Security Systems.  The officer also held the appointment of Capt (Jt Ops) at Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff; where he was looking after strategic affairs, including formulation of India’s National Military Strategy, and Joint Exercises with friendly foreign countries.
  3. The officer is a graduate of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and also has an MBA degree from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
