Experience  

He was commissioned into the Indian Navy in July 1999 and is a ‘Communications and Electronic Warfare’ specialist. He has served extensively on board frontline ships of the Indian Navy. He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, the Command and Staff Course, Haigate, Kuala Lumpur, University of Madras and Cochin University of Science and Technology.

Commander Dinesh Yadav joined as a Research Fellow at National Maritime Foundation in September 2015. Prior taking up his present appointment, he was Joint Director (Acquisition Planning) at the Directorate of Naval Plans.
