Admission is entrusted to the NMF Committee, which retains discretion regarding admission and selection. Associate Membership may be considered for NRIs and foreign nationals on a case-by-case basis after necessary clearances. Such applicants should contact membership@maritimeindia.org before applying. Subscription and renewalFirst-time Associate Membership applicants may choose either one year for ₹750 or three years for ₹2,250. Subscription rates may be revised by the NMF Council from time to time. Termination or cancellation of membershipMembership may be terminated by the Council, after due notice, for breach of the Foundation’s rules, refusal or neglect to abide by those rules, or conduct considered to bring discredit to the Foundation. Return and refund policyMembership cannot be returned once subscribed to by an individual or institution, and no refund is ordinarily provided once the membership has been subscribed to. Concerns regarding non-receipt of membership benefits may be sent to the NMF Membership Desk for redressal. Application and payment statusOnline payment confirms receipt of an application. It does not by itself constitute final approval of membership. A payment-success page and acknowledgement email will display the gateway transaction reference and application status.
