- Started Career as Project Scientist in MARSIS Project under Dept of Ocean Development for “Identification of Potential Fishing Zone along Indian Coast” during 1998-1999
- Subsequently, Joined as Junior research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow under IGBP programme to estimate primary productivity over Bay of Bengal during 1999-2002
- Awarded Monbukagakusho fellowship from of Japan in 2002.
- Worked as Research Student at Centre for Remote Sensing, Chiba University in 2003
- Completed D in Chiba University in 2006.
- Worked as Assistant professor at Yamaguchi University for two years from 2006-2008.
