Mr Arunabh Mitra is the Chief Continuity Officer (CCO) for HCL Technologies Ltd, a $12 billion information technology company with 200,000 employees and operations in over 52 countries. His charter is to design and deploy a ‘future-ready’ Crisis & Resilience framework, in line with industry-leading practices to appropriately respond to the evolving risk landscape while collaborating actively with HCL’s clients across Fortune 1000 companies, diverse external stakeholders, and industry bodies. Mr Mitra’s mission is to build a more resilient world. He works extensively with individuals and industry partners to amplify the conversation on resilience and is an industry speaker that thrives on delivering a dynamic and interactive session at global events. He is the founding Chair of the India Future Practice Group – a think tank of Business Continuity Institute (BCI) dedicated to horizon scanning and decoding the future of Business Continuity and a member of the Regional Advisory Group of Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) for South Asia. Mr Mitra is currently pursuing his doctoral programme on the topic of Resilience from the Graduate School of Media and Governance at Keio University, Tokyo.
