SUMMARY:UNESCO-NMF-MHS Webinar: “Safeguarding Underwater Cultural Heritage: Perspectives from India and beyond”
DESCRIPTION: The Webinar is organised by the United Nations, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), in partnership with the National Maritime Foundation (NMF) and Maritime History Society (MHA),  from 1600 h to 1835 h (IST), on Thursday, 24 September 2020.
The webinar aims to introduce the UNESCO Convention and shed light on the rich underwater cultural heritage of India. The event is likely to be attended by many international academics, experts in underwater archaeology, experts from the NMF, MHS and ASI.

The Webinar will be hosted by the UNESCO, on a virtual platform (ZOOM), on 24 September 2020, Thursday, from 1600h to 1835h (IST)
